charlie & me represents our manufacturers in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin. charlie & me sales reps know the importance of building customer relationships, and are experts at placing and servicing new and well recognized product lines to a wide variety of retailers.
In addition to traditional card and gift stores, we do especially well in stationery stores, hospitals, pharmacies, grocery stores, museums, florists, garden centers and bookstores (just to name a few). We are always seeking out new markets.
company history
charlie & me was started in the early 80's in Illinois, and quickly grew from 1 state to 4. In September 2003, Jennifer and David Brooks took over operations of Paper Cargo. charlie & me, named in honor of Jennifer and David's sons, was unveiled at the July 2004 Chicago Gift show. 2011 saw the expansion into the state of Ohio and a new partnership with DNA and AND! Sales. 2012 will start off with the opening of our new showroom in the Merchandise Mart!
